How to Get Ready to Receive Trick or Treaters

Planning ahead for trick or treating is best to do. I usually wait until the last week to a few days but by then most of the candy is gone. So planning ahead sounds like a plan to me. Get out some paper and make a list so it helps you to plan for the big night. Your list should include candy and decorative bowls. As you pick out candy think of the kids ages you’ll be handing out to so you can have a good variety of candy. For handing candy out to smaller kids and babies choose some softer candies for them. Parents will be grateful you did that.

My usual kinds of candy I like to get are bags of different kinds of candy bars. I love to give out tarts plus can’t forget the most famous M & M’s! Everyone loves those! I guess I just like to give out the usual, simple kinds of candy.

There is a child in every one of us who is still a trick-or-treater looking for a brightly-lit front porch.

It’s fun to have a pretty decorative bowl to put the candy in. Here are some handpicked bowl’s that I was fun! Here’s a green ensemble of candy bowls.
